Infrastructure and Facilities

In order to achieve its ambition of being a world-class education provider, Greet Teacher Training College has committed to significant enhancement of its facilities and buildings, essential for world-class research and all-round development of students. The College has an extremely modern and state-of-the-art infrastructure that goes a long way in facilitating a number of services for the students as well as the staff members.

The sprawling college campus at Greet Teacher Training College is spread over an area of over 1.6Acres which includes 45000 sq feet of built up area & 25000 sq feet of open space for garden and sports facilities. The teaching- learning process is facilitated in 20 class rooms, 7 tutorial rooms, two specialized laboratories, One state -of-the-art computer centres with high speed Internet connectivity, a seminar room, conference room, an auditorium and a fully automated library. The entire college campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The college also provides residential facilities for the Principal, teaching faculty and non teaching staff.There is also separate hostel for Boys and Girls

with 24hrs Security, and all needed facilities.The College takes pride in being a differently-abled friendly campus with new ramps. There are sepearte common rooms fpr boys and girls,The common rooms are fully equipped with, indoor games and other recreation facilities.

OUR LIBRARY

The college has a well-stocked library having nearly seven thousand books and regular subscription of magazines and daily newspapers. It caters the needs of the 400 students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The Library services are fully automated. The Library has reading facility for 100 students at a time.The Library uses the Library Management Software (LMS) 'LibSys' version 7. It also uses Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) technology for efficient management of library and its services and convenience of users. The Library is well equipped with all the modern facilities and resources (print and electronic) in the forms of CDROMs, DVD-ROM, video cassettes, books, journals, etc. It has also developed a full-fledged Digital Library equipped with necessary modern equipment in order to provide various digital modes of library services. The library follows the Dewey Decimal System of classification, 23rd edition, and Books are processed by using AACR-II code. The Call Number in the OPAC helps in locating the books on the shelves. Books are arranged on the shelves in numerical order from 000-999.

The library remains open on all working days. Apart from normal working days it also opens on Saturdays, Sundays, and other Holidays during examinations. To become a member, students should fill and submit a prescribed membership form to the library.

CLASSROOMS

The College currently has 20 spacious, amphitheatre-style classrooms in the Campus which provide the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused discussions. They have been designed to bring together analysis with action and are augmented with integrated audio–visual teaching aids for lectures, presentations etc. Special sessions, seminars and classes are also held on teaching etiquettes, negotiation skills, effective communication, leadership, teamwork and analytical skills

AUDITORIUM

Greet Teacher Training College provides state-of-the-art conference halls with a large seating capacity that act as a common ground for students, faculty and guest personalities for regular interfaces, conferences and other events. At these platforms, you will come across various global thought leaders, academic gurus and academic heads who will share their teaching experiences with you. For events of a smaller scale, the seminar halls, equipped with advanced presentation tools, are the ideal venue.

MUSIC ROOM

The Music Room is equipped with a variety of instruments to facilitate the students in their practical work and hence equip them with skills of better co-ordination with different instruments. The students learn Hindustani vocal music and get a chance to perform at various college and inter-college functions.

SPORTS FACILITIES

The Sports facilities in the college include a large playground. Intensive training is imparted under expert guidance. Each year, students of Greeet Teacher Training College achieve notable distinctions, and some of them are selected for All India Inter- University and National tournaments. Facilities are provided for Athletics, Badminton, Volley Ball,and Kabaddi .

GYMNASIUM

The students are provided with excellent gym and yoga facilities. The simple yet comfortable environment provides a congenial setting in which regular exercise and relaxation becomes a real pleasure, in a friendly & welcoming atmosphere. The gym sports a variety of equipment which caters for virtually all sporting needs of the students from serious cardio-vascular workout to maintaining general level of fitness.

CANTEEN

The recently refurnished canteen is the hub of out-of-class discussions and exchange of information. It provides snacks, drinks and lunch at subsidized rates.A healthy mind can only reside in a healthy body. Hence, all menus that are Available are designed by a team of professional dieticians, and offer nutritious and wholesome food to ensure a well-balanced diet. This Canteen also provides meals to all hostelers.

MEDICAL FACILITIES

A healthy body makes for a healthy mind. In order to ensure your well-being there is a Medical Room in the College which provides first aid needs. An Allopathic doctor is available for consultation, for three hours, two times a week. An Ayurvedic doctor gives consultation twice a week, while a Homoeopathic doctor visits once a week.We have tie- ups with renowned hospitals to take care of any kind of emergency.

HOSTEL

At Greet's Teacher Training College , you will be among the many students coming from all across the country , which come closest to being a home away from home.There are Separate Hostel facilities for boys and girls,The rooms are spacious, comfortable and hygienic with natural air and light, caring wardens and tight security arrangements ensure a pleasant stay, allowing students to focus on academics.Provision is made for both vegetarian and non vegetarian food in the college Canteen.

TRANSPORT FACILITY

For the security and added comfort, we provide buses for the transportation of our students and staffs. The routes and pickup points are clearly laid out, and you are requested to follow the timings set for the pickup. In addition to the transportation provided by us.

To ensure safety and security of girl students on demand from the parents the institution is providing transport facility at competitive rates on no profit no loss basis.
The college has employed qualified and experienced drivers.
As there are limited buses/seats transport facility will be provided on first come first serve basis
Transport schedule is designed in such a way that buses will reach the campus 10 minutes before the commencement of academic work of the institution.
The Student shall pay the prescribed fee in one lump sum for each academic year. No installments will be allowed.
Students will be issued bus pass under the seal of Administrative Officer or any other designated officer.
They shall produce the fee receipt on demand
The students are advised to be at the boarding point 10 mins before the arriving schedule.
If the student arrives late at the boarding point after the bus leaves the point she shall make her own transportation arrangement. College does not hold any not responsibility.
In the evening the buses will leave the college as per the schedule
No change of schedule or route is permitted.
Buses will run during the academic year as per the almanac for BE students. During the vacation SUMMER/WINTER no transportation facility will be provided.
Buses will not run exclusively for B.Ed/D.El.Ed students. They have to adjust as per our schedule.
In case of sudden failure of buses the students shall cooperate with the management and shall make their own arrangement. Every best effort will be made to avoid such situations.
No student will be allowed to board the bus without bus pass and College ID Card
